... a plan and a vision.  Before we write, we plan.  Every. Single. Time. There is a lot to think about.  Authors of all kinds take time to plan and think before diving into a piece of writing.  Authors weed through the excess, shed it, and then dive right into what will speak to the readers...  We talk about all of this and more in 2nd grade.

We simplify and we think about what matters the most, especially as writers...then we bring it to life on the page.
